google analytics - Page views count decreases when i select page path as dimension -

i using google analytic`s in product calculate page views. facing problem. when call ga api ga:source dimension count 7176 when add ga:pagepath in dimension, count decreased.

if understand correctly, page path when visitors click full url of site browse it.
source, on other hand, applys when visitors enter website after google search of site, or 1 of pages , added full url.
so, logical ga:source greater ga:pagepath
